Robin Ingle, Chairman and CEO

CEO Robin Ingle has worked in the special risk / travel insurance industry since 1975. Robin has a background in international security, an in-depth understanding of global health care, and an intimate knowledge of the international insurance and assistance industries. His Group of Companies represents major insurers around the world, and provides award-winning products and services to worldwide travellers, international students, expatriates, governments, organizations, corporations, and high-risk adventure travellers. Among his multilingual staff are registered nurses, physicians, and insurance, medical, and security specialists. Over the years, Robin has provided unbiased advice to individuals and groups, and has participated in seminars and lectures worldwide.

Dr. Michael Szabo, Medical Director – International

Dr. Michael Szabo is Medical Director at Intrepid 24/7. He is an emergency physician at University Health Network in Toronto and a lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Szabo has over 20 years of experience providing front-line medical care. He also has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. Dr. Szabo is the former medical director of Magna International and has extensive experience with providing executive and concierge health care as well as expert medical second opinions.

Robert Young Pelton, Travel Safety & Security Advisor

Robert Young Pelton (RYP), Intrepid 24/7’s Travel Safety & Security Advisor, is a renowned author, journalist, and documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on surviving high-risk environments. Robert has worked as an advisor for the ISAF command in Afghanistan and run ground networks in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. He has worked for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, ABC Investigative, CBS 60 Minutes, CNN, and other major media networks. He was also host of the Discovery Travel Channel series, "Robert Young Pelton's The World's Most Dangerous Places" from 1998 to 2003. He currently owns DPx Gear and is authoring several new books.
